Malta is a colourful city with many layers! Fabulous architecture, lovely people, and so much military history. I am currently trying to participate in this year’s NaNoWriMo so thought to post a picture here as a sort of filler to stay engaged with all you lovely people here on WordPress.
Amazing photo, what a place! Love the sun-drenched buildings under storm clouds…
My friend and I met someone from Malta once, on a Eurail trip. I was so geographically challenged back then, I didn’t even know where Malta was! :)) xoxo

Thank you Nadine! My Dad spent some time there in WW2 as well as in. Egypt. He was in Air Sea Rescue with the RAF back then. I always remember that he said it was an interesting place! It was pretty densely populated but full of quirky cobbled streets. Oh, and so many churches! It’s strategically placed I think. It’s said to be the gateway between Italy and Africa. It was definitely worth a visit! 🙂 xoxo

“the gateway between Italy and Africa” — aha! love that phrase. And love hearing a bit about your family. Sounds like a ramble waiting to be written… 😉🤓🙏
